This is a short chirp. I could have picked any ‘pro-life’ Republican but i decided on Ted Cruz. He is Alberta’s dirty secret in that he was born in Alberta.
Another gun massacre. This time, again in Texas, the open carry state. People going to the mall on a Saturday afternoon. Eight people never coming back home. Good old Ted tweeted out that he and his wife Heidi are saddened by the event and are praying for the victims and their families. The old thought and prayers routine.
Ted angrily walked away from an interview, last year, following the Uvalde, Texas massacre that left 19 children dead. He was asked why this happens so much in America. The reporter asking the question was British. Ted angrily responded, as follows,
“I’m sorry you think American exceptionalism is awful. You’ve got your political agenda. God love you.”
He then walked away. Last year, Cruz received $442,000 in gun lobby donations. This was the highest total of all congress members. The news site Axios, who reported this number, added,
“The figures are much higher if you count indirect contributions, like the NRA’s purchase of attack ads against opponents.”
