Most politicians, when they win a campaign, such as a primary are gracious in victory. Not Trump though. After he won by double digits yesterday, in New Hampshire, he went on the attack. He attacked Nikki Haley for staying in race. For some reason he attacked her clothes. What I find most ironic is that he said the following
“But I felt I should do this, because I find in life you can’t let people get away with bulls–t.”
Really, Donald? You are the king of lies and BS. It is amazing how you attribute your characteristics to others
He also criticized Chris Sununu, the Governor of New Hampshire, who campaigned for Haley. This is how Trump reacts when he wins. When he loses, he claims the election is rigged. He is already saying that if he loses, this November, it is because the election will have been rigged
If Trump does win, he has already admitted that he will be a dictator in day one. He will be taking his revenge on people and organizations, such as the media, that he feels has slighted him. He has already said
“I will be your retribution.”
In his first term, as president, America survived because he had a number of guardrails in place. People who held him back. This time he will surround himself with yes people. Imagine the DOJ lead by anyone devoted to Trump and devoted to carry out his agenda, democracy be damned. The US would soon look like Putin’s Russia.
It is scary to contemplate. It is scarier to think it could happen.
