No two ways about it. Donald Trump had a bad week. Stuck in court all week. Pictures captured with his eyes closed, apparently sleeping. Admonished by the judge. Listening to potential jurors stating why they could not be impartial, because they consider Trump to be a very bad person, putting it mildly.
So Trump was going to regain the momentum by having a large outdoor rally, in Wilmington, North Carolina, on Saturday. 8,000 people had already gathered and were waiting. But, Mother Nature stepped in with thunderstorms. Trump had to cancel. As one rally attendee said ‘we feel like losers’.
So a frustrated Donald Trump will be back in court on Monday.  He will be forced to listen to opening statements.
As the week goes on, he will be listening to witnesses for the prosecution. Expect fireworks. Bring popcorn.
