I have come to an age where times I feel my relevancy to the world is diminishing. Then I look at the two presidential candidates for this year in the states and I realized there were almost 10 years older than I am. Baby boomer still rule. this must absolutely frustrate the millennials The Gen Xers the Gen Zers and whatever other letters there are. Sucks to be you.
Never in my life didI think that one of the presidential candidates would be an accused sex abuser. but here we are.
Donald Trump, in the midst of his legal difficulties has been pushing Joe Biden for a debate. well he finally got his wish. Biden has agreed to two of them with the first one in late June.
The way Biden responded one would think that this was a schoolyard challenge between two grade school kids.
“I’ve received and accepted an invitation from @CNN for a debate on June 27th. Over to you, Donald. As you said: anywhere, any time, any place.”
“Donald Trump lost two debates to me in 2020. Since then he hasn’t shown up for a debate. Now he’s acting like he wants to debate me again.”
“Well, make my day, pal, I’ll even do it twice. So let’s pick the dates, Donald – I hear you’re free on Wednesdays.”
Maybe Oh bye a better analogy than the schoolyard analogy would be the pre-boxing challenges made by two boxers with one of them being Muhammad Ali.
Then again, Biden is just going down to Trump’s level with his response to Trump’s challenges. The being free on Wednesday was a nice shot. Here we are.
Then again I look at them and I ask myself is this where I’m gonna be 10 years from now? Whatever.
