This goes under the stranger than fiction category. To the left a judge and the picture on the right is a defendant.
The case is done through zoom. The defendant’s lawyer is in the court room.The lawyer is asking for the trial to be pushed back four weeks.
The defendant is apparently driving. The judge wants to question the defendant but waits for him to become stationary.
So far so good. While the defendant is parking his car, the judge looks over the defendant’s record. The judge looks confused. The judge tells the lawyer that the defendant has a suspended drivers license. All the lawyer can do is say yes he does.
Here is a guy driving with a suspended license at a zoom court trial. The judge informs the defendant that his bond is revoked and that the defendant must turn himself in, that evening, to be put in jail. The defendant’s jaw drops.
