The movie, Monty Python and the Holy Grail came out in 1975. There is one memorable scene where the black Knight takes on an opponent and eventually has one arm, then the other, and both legs sliced off, and he keeps coming at his opponent. despite having his arms and legs sliced off. The black Knight claims that it is only a flesh wound, and also denies it did not happen and he keeps calling the opponent chicken. Even after all his limbs are off and the opponent walks away in discussed, the black Knight keeps taunting him. You have to see the scene to totally appreciate the humor.
Well, after all the events of the last few weeks, starting with the disaster of the debate, the Supreme Court decision and yesterday, Aileen Cannon throwing out the classified documents case, I feel much like the black Knight. but my attitude is different from his in that I’m not coming back at my opponent. Since the debate my cable news viewing time has diminished to near zero. I’m getting my News from scrolling through the Internet. There are a lot of Democrats on Twitter, who indicated that they are watching the RNC convention this week. I don’t know how they are doing that. I, myself, can only take masochism so far. Right now I’m hoping for a bunch of October surprises. There is going to be a tsunami of October surprises needed for this to turn around.
