A couple of weeks ago, Donald Trump was flying high. Biden had a disastrous debate. Polling numbers were showing Trump surging ahead.Project 2025 was not really affecting Trump, yet. So Trump decided to select an extreme right winger as his vice presidential candidate. Vance could help in the Midwest and help Trump to a landslide victory in November. I was how cocky Trump was.
The landscape has now changed. Vance has made a couple of campaign speeches which were uninspiring at best. In one speech, he said something to the effect that he could have a Mountain Dew and be called racist for it. The response was crickets from his crowd.
Now, the past is coming to haunt Vance, and, as such, the Republican party. this is what he said in an interview with Tucker Carlson back in 2021
“We’re effectively run in this country—via the Democrats, via our corporate oligarchs—by a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they’ve made, and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable too.”
Red flag! So, according to Vance, if you are a childless single woman, or, either married or in a relationship, without children, then you must be unhappy. Because the only way you could be fulfilled, as a woman, is to have kids. This has not gone over well at all. Nope.
We have a presidential candidate, who is an alleged rapist and a vice presidential candidate, who believes the Handmaid’s Tale version of life should be the way life, as the ticket for the Republican party. this at a time, where more attention is being put on project 2025.
Vance, suddenly, has become an anchor in this race. He is not helping Trump at the polls and there are already rumours that Trump is not happy with him at all.
Trump would look very bad if he suddenly changed candidates. From a democrat viewpoint this race is becoming more fun every day.
