I did a very bad thing to myself yesterday. For the last four years whenever Donald Trump is talking on TV, I turn the channel. If I want to know what he said, I will surf the Internet or watch cable news after he has spoken to see what he said. At the very most I have heard him speak live for a total of about an hour over the last four years.
Donald Trump had a press conference yesterday. I was curious about it because I wanted to hear him complain about how unfair he has been been treated lately with Kamala now in the race and I wanted to hear him explode at the hardball meeting questions that I was sure was going to be asked. his introductory speech itself was over an hour. it was a rant, but he put it in such a way where everyone was wrong and he was right and he did it in that irritating manner that he has. It was so bad that MSNBC did not carry it at all and CNN cut out after about a half hour saying get back to the press conference once questions were asked. So I actually watched the rest of the introductory speech on Fox. Please don’t judge me.
Then questions were asked. But they were all softball questions. And they must’ve been all from right wing media outlets, including Fox. The questions were such that it set up Trump to do more rants.
In total, the press conference lasted nearly an hour and a half. I listened to Trump live yesterday more than I have for the last four years in total. I might need therapy. It is so bad that I had to vent this in a chirp.
