There were two key votes at the United Nations yesterday. The first vote was a resolution condemning Russia for its aggression in Ukraine and demanding that Russia return all Ukrainian territory back to Ukraine. The resolution was approved. Three of the countries who voted against the resolution were Russia and North Korea, as expected, the third country was the US.
The second resolution called for an end to the war in Ukraine without any mention of Russian aggression. Because there was no mention of Russian aggression this resolution was defeated. Two countries who voted for this resolution was Russia, as expected, and the US.
Hell has frozen over. The US is now agreeing with North Korea on resolutions. Expect the Toronto Maple Leafs to win the Stanley Cup this spring.
