As we all know, Wayne Gretzky’s stature has taken a hit lately, with us Canadians, given his association with Trump. His wife, Janet, has described Wayne as being heartbroken over this. Well, Janet, you need to have a long talk with your hubby.
Alex Ovechkin is threatening Gretzky‘s record for the most goals scored by an NHL player. As such, an NHL entourage, including Commissioner, Gary Bettman and Gretzky have been attending Ovechkin‘s games to commemorate Ovechkin when he scores goes to tie and break Gretzky‘s record
Friday night, Ovechkin was playing a home game in Washington. Ovechkin tied Gretzky’s record with a goal.
Now Gary Bettman is not a well liked figure, with NHL fans, even though he has been running the league,for over 30 years now. So Wayne Gretzky, sitting beside Gary Bettman, while not great, is understandable because Bettman is the NHL commissioner. But to have Trump’s FBI director and well-known nut job, Kash Patel, sitting on the other side?
How could you Wayne? What were you even thinking? To us Canadians, the Great One is becoming the Gone One. Dare I say the going going going gone one?
