Just a typical day of WTF’s in the Trump circus. Trump met with El Salvador president,Bukele, where they gleefully talked about human rights abuses. They both agreed that the man the Trump administration mistakenly deported to El Salvador, will remain languishing in prison in El Salvador. So much for the Supreme Court ruling ordering that the Trump administration bring the guy back. Do you remember when Vance attacked Ukrainian president Zelenskyy for being disrespectful for not wearing a tie when meeting with Trump? Note the image above. Crickets.
What else happened on this day? Well, the Trump administration cancelled $2.3 billion in grants to Harvard University for not agreeing to Trump’s demands for policy changes, including eliminating DEI policies. So much for the first amendment. Constitution? What constitution?
Trump is looking at pulling back on automotive tariffs on Canada and Mexico, for a while. But pharmaceuticals are gonna be hit bigly with tariffs. Who knows what tomorrow or even today in the tariff circus will bring
One final WTF, in just this one day. A Russian missile attack killed 34 people, including children, in Sumy, Ukraine, on Sunday. While the world condemned this atrocious attack, Trump stated that Russia made a mistake and that they will never do it again (did the sarcasm show through). Then he went on to blame Ukraine for starting the war. I am chirping this at seven in the morning, but I feel the need for a stiff drink.
