I think we all remember the White House meeting between Trump and Vance with Zelensky. They tried to humiliate Zelensky, in front of the cameras. They showed themselves as the bullies they are.
Trump will be meeting with Mark Carney tomorrow at the White House. The same thing will not happen to Mark Carney. First of all, Mark Carney has full command of the English language. Second of all, and this is no criticism of Zelensky, Zelensky’s background, as an actor, does not compare to Mark Carney‘s background, as an economist, and as governor of both the Bank of Canada and the Bank of England.
Carney might be slow in his responses, tomorrow, because he will be thinking through what the responses should be, and he will put Trump to shame, with his responses. Also, Mark Carney is intelligent, where Trump is not.
