The MAGA folks were not happy with Pope Francis. They ended up sending JD Vance, to the Vatican, for an audience, and Pope Francis passed away the very next day.
They are contemplating sending JD Vance, again, to the Vatican, for an audience with Pope Leo. If it worked one time, why not try again.
Pope Leo is an American. The first American to be Pope. Where Francis was a liberal, Leo might even be more liberal than Francis. The thought of two woke Popes, in a row, is driving the Trumpers absolutely insane. There are a host of quotes, by Trumpers, including the use of four letter words, disparaging the new Pope. However, the following tweet by the loon, Laura Loomer, pretty well some things up.
“The new Pope once retweeted a post about how we need to keep praying for career criminal & drug addict George Floyd. The tweet said, ‘May all hatred, violence and prejudice be eradicated.’ What prejudice? Is that another way to spell FENTANYL OVERDOSE? MARXIST POPE!”
The hatred is strong for this Pope.
