Evading The Solution

it was Charlie Kirk himself, who said, paraphrasing here, it is worth it having a few lives, lost, in order to protect the second amendment. I wonder, if in the afterlife, he still has the same opinion. I wonder what the school kids who had their lives taken by guns have to say to him

The shooter this time was not a crazy Democrat, but was from a gun toting Trump loving Republican family. I guess he was an expert shot given that he shot Kirk from 200 yards away.

Even after all this, gun rights advocates are still evading what the solution is. There are too many freaking guns.

All countries have video games. All countries have mental health issues. Only one country has the second amendment.

The Charlie Kirk murder has created a new environment in the United States. Even though that environment should been created three months previous, when Melissa Hortman Democrat, speaker of the state house of Minnesota was gunned down.

In the US, you can go to a political rally you can go to a church, you can go to a school, you can go to a grocery store and you run the risk of being shot and killed. Guns don’t care what age you or what gender you are. I did not see the video of Kirk being killed, but I am told that it was gruesome. Maybe gun advocates should see pictures of all the kids who were shot in the same way or even worse, multiple bullets

Politicians in the US are facing a new reality. No matter what ideology they follow, they are at the risk of getting shot and killed. Will this change the way politicians vote on future gun control votes? No it won’t. If the slaughter of children does not change attitudes, the potential killings of politicians themselves won’t change it either. It just won’t. America, as far as guns are concerned, you are a very broken country. There’s no other way to say it.

That’s all I got for today.
