The similarities between the 1930s and the 2020s are frightening. Hitler took over Austria. Trump is taking over Venezuela. Trump is also doing a Neville Chamberlain imitation with regard to Ukraine.
Trump is also imitating Putin. Putin took over Georgia back in 2014 and is now going after Ukraine. Trump just went after Venezuela.
We have seen January 6, we have seen a Trump Supreme Court rule that Trump cannot be charged for any criminal acts he would do as president. We have seen things that we could never imagined before 2016.
Venezuela is an oil rich country. Venezuela, as such, is rich in resources that Trump wants. Greenland is rich in rare earth materials. Do not be surprised if Trump does go after Greenland in one form or another
Canada is also rich in resources. Oil, potash, rare earth materials. Trump has already talked about annexing Canada as a 51st state. So don’t tell me that Trump is not capable of doing to Canada what he did to Venezuela last night. This guy is insane. He is certifiable. Until Congress, until adults start putting guard rails on him, he is capable of doing absolutely anything, including invading Canada.
So just beware.
