Back in the 1980s and 1990s, Donald Trump would make phone calls to talk radio, using the name John Barron, boasting about how great a guy Donald Trump was. Trump would later admit, under oath, that he had done this.
Last Friday morning, the day following the tariff setback that Trump received from the Supreme Court, C-SPAN had a call in show. A guy calling himself John Barron, and sounding suspiciously like Donald Trump, called into the show. It was a 32 second call that was cut off in disgust by the host of the show. This is what the person said during those 32 seconds.
“This is the worst decision you ever have in your life practically.”
“This is a terrible decision, and you have Hakeem Jeffries, who … he’s a dope. And you have Chuck Schumer, who can’t cook a cheeseburger. Of course these people are happy. Of course these people are happy. But true Americans will not be happy.”
The phone call has gone viral on the net since. C-SPAN claims that it was not Donald Trump. However, if it was not Trump, the guy did a perfect imitation of his voice and tone and bitterness.
If you want to see it for yourself, just google Trump makes a phone call to C-SPAN and determine for yourself whether it was Trump or not. This is gonna be another crazy week with Trump. So I figured this was a good way to start the week with this chirp.
To all the Canadian athletes who participated in the Milano Olympics, you did us proud.
