Donald, I know we had this talk yesterday, but you keep saying that this war is over and frankly you won this war. Well, Iran made their latest peace proposal. It really doesn’t seem as if they know that you’re winning.
Look at what they’re saying. They don’t want the ceasefire to continue, rather they want the war to end in 30 days. They want recognition of the fact that they own the Strait of Hormuz. Iran also wants the cessation of all hostilities, including Lebanon. They want the lifting of US sanctions and they want the end of the US naval blockade.
You know what they did not mention in their latest proposal? Of course you know because yousaw the proposal. No mention of uranium at all. As far as Iran is concerned that is off the table completely.
I know you’re used to dealing with opponents from a position of strength. But given Iran’s proposals, I think they’re the ones that think they are negotiating from a position of strength. Meanwhile, gas is up to an average price of $4.45 in the US
