The House, by a margin of 215 to 208 passed a resolution requiring you to seek approval for your Iran war through Congress. Four Republicans supported that resolution. It now goes to the Senate where it is expected to pass there, as well, with the support of a number of Republicans. Your Republican Party is getting fed up with what’s happening in Iran. Once it passes the Senate, you have two choices. Either withdraw troops from the Middle East, or seek approval from the war, from Congress.
You have this big immigration bill in the Senate right now. Your Republican senators have not passed it yet because of this $1.8 billion convict slush fund, you keep pushing. The Senate wants reassurances that you will never ever ever ever bring it up again. You, being you, keep raising the possibility that you will bring it up again. So your Senate Republicans have pushed back.
Also, if they pass this bill, the Senate Republicans have decided not to include the $1 billion security funding that you want for your ballroom.
The Senate Republicans are also not happy with your nomination for director of national intelligence to replace Tulsi Gabbard. You’ve actually nominated someone who might have less intelligence experience than Gabbard.
Some people are starting to think that secretly you are a democrat trying to bring down the Republican Party. I would not put it past you, Donald.
