Donald Trump has been spewing lies about his role when the towers fell
“I was building a building in New York, and I had a lot of construction workers. And I went down there very shortly thereafter, the following day — couldn’t go down the same day —Very quickly afterwards. And we worked long and hard.”
That is complete BS. Trump told the following lie at the Pentagon a couple days ago.
“We thought it was coming down on top of us, and two firemen, big strong guys — I’m not the smallest guy in the world — they grabbed me under the arm, said, ‘Got to get out of here,’ and they literally lifted me up.”
This also did not happen.
He also lied when he said he saw Muslims dancing in the streets, celebrating the fall of the towers. What his role was on September 11? He called a radio station on that day to say that now that the towers are fallen, his Trump tower was the tallest building in New York City. He did say that.
This guy is totally despicable. He will lie about everything, including the tragedy of 911. He is a sick man.
One more thing, Donald. In your speech at your midterm convention last night, you said that Canada was begging for a deal. No Donald. We are not. We are the ones that walked away from the table and we have made no move to go back and we won’t go back until you grow up. Which means we might never go back.
