One of the things Adolf Hitler did was attack and demonize the free press. Donald Trump facing a number of terrible decisions is doing the same. Actually, he has been doing the same ever since his fake news slogan came out.
Make no doubt of this, this will go very badly for him. At a time when his ship is already sinking, this will just increase the damage. This is simply a misguided act of desperation. Hitler, when he took on the world, came to a bad end. Trump is approaching a bad political end.
