This is a learning experience to begin with. I have been told that I need to start thinking out of the box and try new things and this is definitely out of the box for me. There will be missteps along the way on this blog. I expect there will be a number of wtf did he put that in there for. It is a picture of a cow. it has no relevance at all. Ok. An accidental post. How the heck do I unpost it. I accidentally launched this blog before I was ready. Missteps. My author identification is chirppingbird. Yes I know, there are 2 p’s instead of 1. I will figure it out. Doing new stuff? I am into meditation. What? I am in the middle of publishing a children’s book. Who is this person. Doing this blog. In a few days I will be getting an occulus. A virtual reality thingy. Obviously I am going off the deep end. More on all of this stuff in the future

Why Bird’s Chirps. My nickname in university was Bird. I would like to say it was because I was at the University of Windsor when the Detroit Tigers baseball team had a pitcher by the name of Mark “The Bird” Fidrych who liked talking to baseballs and who I resembled somewhat. Others would say it was because I looked Big Bird from Sesame Street. Whatever.

As for this blog. I did a number of political posts on Facebook. A whole bunch. Let’s say that my views are somewhat left of centre. Maybe CNN left as opposed to Rachel Maddow MSNBC left. A number of my Facebook friends appreciated. My right of centre Tucker Carlson right Facebook friends definitely did not appreciate. Those friends that I have left, from the right.

There will also be a sprinkling of sports posts about my teams, the Detroit Lions, the Tigers, the Edmonton Oilers and Toronto Raptors and others. Plus a sprinkling of other posts that I am still figuring out. Eventually I will have these posts under specific categories and maybe even some images if and when I can figure it out. One word of warning. If you are a Trumper, this is not a site for you. Ok. Let’s see how this goes.
