This is the flag of Michigan. This is going to be a very blue week in Michigan. The maize and blue Michigan Wolverines will be going after their first National Championship since 1997. Meanwhile the Honolulu blue Detroit Lions will be going for their first playoff win since 1991.

I was born and raised and then went to University in Ontario cities in that bordered Michigan. While never having gone a Wolverine game I had the privilege of going to a few Lions games both at Tiger Stadium and the Silverdome.

Michigan plays tonight. The last championship they won they had Brian Griese and sone guy named Brady. Wonder what ever happened to him. There are rumours that Jim Harbaugh will head to the NFL next year. Few teams could use him. He will be missed given that Michigan has beaten hated Ohio State the last few years

The Lions. Goff versus Stafford. The Lions have the offence even without LaPorta. They have a great offensive Line to protect Goff. The problem is can they contain the Rams. Also, how will Stafford be greeted?
