since the beginning of the pro Palestinian University protests a couple weeks back over 2000 people have been arrested. In New York City, 282 people have been arrested in relation to the university protests at Columbia and at CCNY. Ofthose arrested, 30% of the protesters at Columbia were not affiliated with the university and 60% of the protesters at CCNY were not affiliated with that university.

When things settle down, further investigation will be needed to determine what percentage of the 2000 arrested so far were actually affiliated with the university that they were protesting at. It will be interesting to know whether a number of diversified interests were involved or was it a coordinated action by a couple of outside interests

it will also be interesting to know whether these interests had outside funding, and who was the source of the funding.
