Enough is enough. last week, Supreme Court Justice, Samuel Alito, faced controversy, when a photograph of an upside down US flag flying at his house was released. The flag was a symbol of the “stop the steal” movement launched by Donald Trump, and his supporters, following his 2020 election loss. A number of upside down US flags were visible, during the January 6 insurrection. Alito explained it off by saying that it was his wife’s reaction following an argument with her neighbour. This is total BS and everyone knows it.

The flag above is known as the “appeal to heaven” flag. this flag is associated with the Christian Right. It has become a symbol of the “stop the steal” movement and the number of these flags were also seen during the January 6 insurrection. this flag was seen and photographed flying over Alito‘s home in New Jersey from July through September 2023. Basically Alita was caught in a lie with his explanation of the upside down flag.

chief Justice John Roberts is faced with a major dilemma. Supreme Court justices are supposed to be neutral in their decisions. We now have two of the nine justices who are definitely not neutral. Those being Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas. This court is tainted. There is no other way to put it. Within a couple of weeks, the Supreme Court will be ruling as to whether Donald Trump has immunity for the criminal actions he took while president. The Supreme Court, is already, at record approval ratings lows. The American public has essentially lost confidence in the Supreme Court.

It is apparent that Chief Justice Roberts only option is to have Samuel Alito recuse himself from this ruling decision. Thomas should also be recused. If they are not, to put it in the terms of cult leader, Donald Trump, the Supreme Court will be seen as a disaster.
