This has been getting a lot of circulation on Twitter and on TikTok the last couple days. To be fair, Lauren, there is a Detroit Lakes. But Detroit Lakes is the next state over, in North Dakota. Isn’t North Dakota the location where they shot the movie ‘they shoot dogs don’t they?’. No that would be ‘they should horses don’t they?’. That movie was produced in the late 1960s. Kristi Noem is the governor of South Dakota where they do shoot dogs. South Dakota is one state down from North Dakota. So I can understand your confusion there too, Loren, about going down and all that.
