Woke up to some stunningly sad news this morning. Johnny Gaudreau, a longtime hockey star for the Calgary Flames, subsequently playing for the Columbus Blue Jackets, was killed in a tragic traffic accident last night, in New Jersey. He was 31. his brother Matthew, 29, was also killed.

They were riding bikes when a SUV went wide around them to give them room. a jeep passed the SUV on the right hand side, slamming into the brothers and killing them. The driver is suspected of being intoxicated at the time. What makes this even sadder is that the brothers were in the area to be at their sister’s wedding today.
