My chirp, today, was initially going to be about the top staffers leaving the black Nazi’s gubernatorial campaign. You know, the guy who was endorsed and called Martin Luther King on steroids, by the eating cats and dog guy. But this is more serious.

Israel and Hezbollah are getting closer and closer to causing an all out war in the Middle East. Neither side wants to back down, it appears. Israel launched more strikes in Lebanon this morning killing almost 200 people and injuring close to 1000, so far. Israel claims that the airstrikes were to eliminate weapons that Hezbollah were storing. Hezbollah, like Hamas, launches attacks within civilian areas. They use civilians of shields. Israel even hacked a private radio station in Lebanon and sent the following message,

“Hezbollah is forcing the IDF [Israel Defense Forces] to target military areas in the village. The [IDF] don’t want to harm you. If you are located in a building used by…” 

Well, as already mentioned, 187 people were killed so far. it is quite likely that is substantial majority were civilians. This is on the heels of the exploding pagers and walkie-talkies last week that killed Hezbollah fighters and civilians, including women and children.

Instead of cooling things off, Benjamin Netanyahu is raising the ante threatening to force Palestinians out of northern Gaza in order to eradicate Hamas. Gaza already is in a crisis situation with people dying from hunger every day.

This is lose-lose all the way around. All this is serving is to raise tensions with a possibility of more entities being drawn into the fight. This is also definitely creating new fighters for Hamas and Hezbollah from families losing loved ones either parents or children.

This is where thoughts and prayers are needed. Where also rational adults in the room are needed.
