You scored tickets to Coldplay. So you decide to take your sweetie to the concert. You’re cuddling with your sweetie, and you get caught on kiss cam. What a perfect evening. Trouble is your sweetie isn’t your wife.

The guy is Andy Byron, CEO of Astronomer. The woman is his HR chief, Kristin Cabot. Looks like when Andy came home his stuff was out of the house. I guess he slept at a hotel that night.

Astronomer is worth $1 billion. Andy himself is worth $50 million. He was pulling in a salary of about $700,000. Well, that is all changed. He has been forced to resign from the company. His salary is gone. His wife is gonna sue his ass off in the divorce. Don’t know what his two teenage children think of them right now but it’s probably not good.

OK, the whole world is laughing over the videos. They got caught red-handed. There is a tragic side to all this. A ruined marriage. The humiliation. The absolute humiliation of it all. ‘Oh Iknow you, you’re the kiss cam guy/girl.’

What made a terrible situation even worse is the reaction by lead singer, Chris Martin, of Coldplay, when he saw the couple reacting the way they did.

“Oh, what? Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”

You got it on the first one, Chris. Believe it or not, my sympathy goes to these two. Yes they were cheating. But now they are paying and will continue to pay big time over this, for a long time to come.
