Carney In Calgary

Alberta referendum day is next Monday. Mark Carney is in Alberta this week. He was in Calgary last night. He will be in Edmonton tonight.

He gave an impassioned speech to a standing room crowd in Calgary last night. The loudest cheer of the night was when he was talking about the pipeline to the Pacific reducing dependency on the US. The crowd went wild. He tried to subdue the crowd by saying ‘careful, careful careful’. After a few moments, the crowd calmed down. And he then said careful the US might look at this as election interference. Another loud cheer.

Supporting unity and mocking Trump at the same time. Albertans will vote to stay in Canada next Monday. The only question there is by how big a majority will the difference be?

As to the other nine questions in the referendum, those voting to stay in Canada may most likely vote to say no to the other nine questions which will be a major blow to Danielle Smith. The biggest loser in all this will definitely be Danielle Smith.

The biggest winners will be Alberta in Canada

Elbows up and Canada strong.
