First of all I want to apologize to crap. The person pictured above is lower than crap. He is far worse than a piece of crap.
Kevin McCarthy, Republican Speaker of the House, handed over 40,000 hours of January 6, Capitol Security video to the person shown above. This piece of crap (only term I can think of right now), on his piece of crap show Monday night, used edited versions of the footage to downplay the insurrection.
“The radicals on the left want you to believe there was a “domestic terrorist attack” on the U.S. Capitol on “Jan. 6.” Well I have news for real Americans out there seeking the truth: There was no Jan. 6.“
It gets far worse.
“The patriotic tourists who arrived at the Capitol bearing gifts for lawmakers were the real victims. As they merrily walked up to the building, the glass on many of the exterior doors spontaneously exploded. Then U.S. Capitol Police officers came along and began slamming their faces into the fists of the innocent and unsuspecting visitors. You don’t hear anything in the mainstream press about the number of knuckle injuries suffered by these peaceful souls.“
Patriotic tourists. Peaceful souls. I want toi vomit. It gets worse, believe it or not. Brian Sicknick was one of the 140 police officers who were attacked and injured that day. He suffered a number of strokes, the following day, and died. Piece of crap showed Sicknick walking around in the Capitol, after the attack, to say that Sicknick did not die from this peaceful day.
Piece of crap superfan Donald Trump watched the show and of course jumped on it and tweeted the following.
“LET THE JANUARY 6 PRISONERS GO. THEY WERE CONVICTED, OR AWAITING TRIAL, BASED ON A GIANT LIE, A RADICAL LEFT CON JOB. THANK YOU TO TUCKER CARLSON AND SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE KEVIN MCCARTHY FOR WHAT YOU BOTH HAVE DONE. NEW VIDEO FOOTAGE IS IRREFUTABLE!!!”
Did I say I wanted to vomit? Condemnation has come from all sides. Capitol Police Chief Thomas Manger, responded to the show, by saying,
“The program conveniently cherry-picked from the calmer moments of our 41,000 hours of video. The commentary fails to provide context about the chaos and violence that happened before or during the less tense moments.”
Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell, supported the Capitol Police Chief’s statement.
“My concern is how it was depicted, which was a different issue. Clearly the chief of the Capitol Police, in my view, correctly describes what most of us witnessed firsthand on Jan. 6. So, that’s my reaction to it. It was a mistake, in my view, for Fox News to depict this in a way that is completely at variance with what our chief law enforcement official here at the Capitol thinks.”
Other Republicans joined in with McConnell in condemning Piece of crap’s show. After the near universal condemnation, one would expect that Piece of crap would be somewhat contrite on his next show. In those 30 seconds, he lumped everyone who condemned him as being those people who want ‘open borders’ and who want the same thing (whatever that is). That was all I could handle.
Brian Sicknick’s family issued a blistering statement on Carlson. The entire statement is too long to put in here. But the final sentence needs to be included.
“Leave us the hell alone and instead of spreading more lies from Supreme Leader Trump, why don’t you focus on the real news”
Being raised as a Catholic, I was told that the worst thing you could say is “God Damn you to Hell”. I have never said it. Does not mean I have not thought it.
