Just when you think Fox Entertainment can’t sink any lower, the network huffs and puffs and goes ‘hold my beer’. A couple of performers at Fox reached new depths the past couple of days. Sometimes, it is better to quote what they said, rather than describe. A quote is worth a thousand descriptions. This all revolves around Florida Governor’s Ron DeSantis push to ‘whitewash’ slavery.

Kamala Harris, last Thursday, commented on the ‘whitewash’, as follows,

“Just yesterday in the state of Florida, they decided middle school students will be taught that enslaved people benefited from slavery. They insult us in an attempt to gaslight us, and we will not stand for it.”

Well, performer, Jesse Watters, Fox’s primetime replacement for Tucker Carlson (where are you these days Tucker?) took offense to this commented and retorted in true Foxian style,

“This is well documented among historians. This is historical fact that slaves did develop skills while they were enslaved and used those skills as blacksmiths, in agriculture, tailoring, in the shipping business, to then use to benefit themselves and their families once they were freed.”

I will leave that pile of crap there to stew. However, Greg Guttfield, self-appointed funnyman at Fox said I can do better than that. When a guest on Fox’s ‘The Five” expressed her discomfort that Black people benefitted from slavery and added that this would be like saying Jews benefitted from the Holocaust, Guttfield’s inner ghoul came out,

“Did you ever make [read] ‘Man’s Search for Meaning’? Vik Frankl talks about how you had to survive in a concentration camp by having skills. You had to be useful. Utility. Utility kept you alive.”

Excuse me while I vomit.

These ghouls should be fired. They won’t be unless advertisers flee the network in reaction to these comments. What saddens and angers me more are the viewers who continue to watch this pile of crap. There are a lot of things I won’t to say but I don’t want to use swear words in saying what I think about these viewers. I will just leave it there.
