Kind Of Scary
This is Mike Johnson. He replaced Kevin McCarthy as House Speaker. He was basically an unknown until he got the Speakership. He got in by being the least offensive to the Republican House Members. He got in after Jim Jordan failed in his bid to be Speaker.
As Johnson becomes more known, he is becoming a bit more scarier. Earlier this week he indicated that he will be releasing more videos of the January 6 insurrection. These are videos that DOJ already has. Johnson indicated that he will be blurring out the faces of rioters to protect them from police and the public. Huh? The Republican Party, supposedly the law and order party will be protecting criminals.
Frightening in itself. Then there was a speech he gave at a Christian Nationalist get together this week where he said that the Lord was speaking to him.
“The Lord began to speak to me…in the middle of the night…I assumed the Lord is going to choose a new Moses.”
Johnson went in to say that the Lord picked him to be the new Moses. Pretty impressive Mike. The Lord talking to you and calling you Moses to part the red sea of both Congress and America. This is one frightening puppy.
