President Zelensky was in Washington yesterday seeking funding for Ukraine’s fight against the invading Russians. As per President Biden,

”Putin is banking on the United States failing to deliver for Ukraine. We must, we must, we must prove him wrong.”

Zelensky after meeting leaders from the House and the Senate walked away with nothing. Ronald Reagan must be turning over in his grave. Russian state tv was celebrating the fact that Zelensky walked away with nothing. They congratulated Mitch McConnell with a “well done gramps”.

Back in February 2021, with the help of Joe Biden, Ukraine had substantial support from the US and its allies. Then with the help of Donald Trump and Tucker Carlson, Republican support for Ukraine has dwindled away to near nothing.

US treasure had been spent to support Ukraine. US blood has not. Putin is ex KGB and was part of the old Soviet Union. Putin has lamented the fact that the Soviet Union was dissolved. Putin’s desire is to have the countries that formed the Soviet Union as well as the Eastern Bloc countries back in the Russian fold. If Ukraine falls, anyone who thinks Putin will stop there is a fool. zIg Trump gets in as President he will not stop Putin from going into other countries, including NATO countries.

This is personal to me because my parents fled to Canada rather than stay in a communist country. My ancestral home, Poland was subjugated under communist rule until Iron Curtain was torn down.

If Putin is not stopped here, sooner or later US and NATO blood will be spilled. That is all I got.
