Yesterday was going to be a big day for Republicans. The Judiciary Committee chaired by Jim (gym) Jordan was going to get testimony from Robert (Don’t call me Ben) Hur. Through the Republican members, on the Committee, and using Hur’s own report, the Republicans were going to show the world that Biden is senile and that Trump is treated unfairly, compared to Biden, in their respective classified documents cases.

That was supposed to be how it was going to go. Thing is, the Democrat members understood the assignment and tore the Republicans to shreds

With the senility part, they raised the transcripts of the interview between Hur and Biden, where Hur complimented Biden on his photographic memory and his photographic knowledge on procedures. Then they showed videos of Trump mangling sentences during speeches. They topped it off with showing videos of Trump being deposed. He mixed up E. Jean Carroll with second wife Marla. He also could remember his wedding dates. Well he had three after all, so. Well, that Republicans plank crashed and burned.

But, what about Trump being treated differently from Biden. Here, the Democrats simply used Hur’s own report. Biden cooperated while Trump did not. Biden showed where the documents were while Trump tried to hide them. Biden was telling the truth while Trump kept lying. And so on.

It ended up being a bad day for Republicans and the Biden momentum that started at the State Of The Union Speech continues to grow.
