First a quick update from yesterday’s chirp. After getting blasted by their leading personalities, NBC has decided to cut Ronna McDaniel loose. Right-wing media are losing their minds. They are saying that MSNBC is simply a voice for the Democrats. Pot calling kettle black or what. That ugly episode is done and over with.

Meanwhile, in the hush money trial, Judge Merchant has issued a gag order on Trump. Trump is forbidden to make any statement on court staff, lawyers, potential jurors and witnesses involved in the trial. This includes family members as well.

“The uncontested record reflecting the Defendant’s prior extra-judicial statements establishes a sufficient risk to the administration of justice … and there exists no less restrictive means to prevent such risk.”

Trump will not be able to make any statements on witnesses such as Michael Cohen or Stormy Daniels. His head will explode. He won’t be able to hold back. He will get warned and then fined. Whether he ends up in jail for contempt is a coin flip. No matter what, Trump will be seething the entire length of the trial. Bring popcorn.
