A couple of months ago. a Senate bipartisan group cobbled together legislation. that would have been the strictest ever on illegal immigration at the Southern border. Donald Trump ordered Republicans in the House and Senate to kill it. He did not to give the Democrats a win. He wanted immigration to be a campaign issue. This is how shallow Trump is.

At a campaign stop in Grand Rapids, Michigan, he called illegals immigrants animals and inhuman. He said that he had a long conversation with the family of Ruby Garcia, a local woman, allegedly murdered by an illegal immigrant. He lied. The family claimed that Trump had never talked to them.

Trump, then went to Green Bay, Wisconsin, where he doubled down on his earlier comments,

“The Democrats say, ‘Please don’t call them animals. They’re humans.’ I said, ‘No, they’re not humans, they’re not humans, they’re animals.”

Trump is taking a page directly from the Adolph Hitler handbook. Just as Hitler called Jews vermin, Trump is calling immigrants animals. Trump had also used the word vermin.

The truly frightening part is that his MAGA supporters are buying it all. They do not care about facts or whether Trump lies or tells the truth. I can attest to this in my own conversations with MAGA supporters in various social media site. Honestly, their reality is scaring the crap out of me.

Fortunately, as the campaign season continues, the polls are starting to trend against Trump. More and more rational people are starting to pay attention to what Trump is saying and are beginning to have wtf realizations.
