The facial expressions kind of says at all, doesn’t it? four weeks and two days ago, Trump had just come off as successful convention, so he thought, and was ready for the stretch run to November. The next day Biden dropped out and Harris was the candidate. In the following four weeks, the polls have turned upside down. Kamala Harris is now leading in a number of polls and a number of battleground state polls.

Things are about to get worse for Trump this week. The Democrats will be holding their convention in Chicago this week. Trump will have a few speeches this week. But all the media attention will be on the Democrat convention. Where four weeks and two days ago, Joe Biden would’ve been speaking his acceptance speech on Thursday, he will be doing it tonight instead. Half of the convention will be a celebration of Joe Biden‘s four years in power. It will be an exuberant celebration. It will be a he beat Donald Trump in 2020 celebration and save democracy. It’ll be a celebration of the past. then Kamala Harris will take centerstage and celebrate the future or the promise of a Harris future. This will be a sharp contrast to the darkness that Trump is portraying.

Trump is angry that Harris has taken over. his entire campaign was built on running against Joe Biden. His entire campaign is in shambles. His aides have begged him to stay focussed on the economy. But Trump can’t do that. Trump is being Trump. He has taken to personal insults. that may have worked against Hillary. It did not work against Biden. It will not work against Harris.

All the attention will be on the Democrats this week. This will enrage Trump. There is not a thing he can do about it. Harris will also get a post convention bump out of this. And to put it in Trump terms Trump’s rage will be a beautiful thing to see.
