2050

The most consequential thing that resulted from the Trump victory in 2016 was the election of three conservative Supreme Court justices. Judge Samuel Alito is 74 years old. judge Clarence Thomas, pictured above, is 76 years old. If Donald Trump gets back in and if the Senate has a Republican majority, it is most likely that these two justices will retire. Then Trump will appoint and have the Senate confirm two more two more conservative justices. That means that the US would likely have a conservative Supreme Court majority at least 2050. Has anyone seen the Handmaid’s Tale lately? If this doesn’t get Americans out to vote this November, nothing will.
