For months Republicans have been complaining about Kamala Harris not doing interviews. They said that Harris was hiding herself within a friendly environment.
It seems like the tables have turned. It was Trump who backed out of a 60 Minutes interview. It was Trump who backed out of a CNBC interview. Trump did have a Fox News Townhall session with an audience comprised only of women. however, it was a hand-picked audience full of Republican women. Trump did have an interview in front of the Economic Club of Chicago, where he was challenged, and it went badly for him with him, lashing out over a number of questions.
Meanwhile, Harris has been interviewed by Howard Stern, by Charlemagne, the God and yesterday on Fox News itself. That interview was carried out by hostile Brett Baier and Harris carried herself quite well.
There are less than three weeks to go, until the election. The polls are still showing a tight race. what should frighten Trump a bit is that Georgia held its first first day of early voting yesterday. A record turnout was seen. That usually favours Democrats. if Trump wants to attract swing voters, he is going to have to put himself out more in less than friendly audiences. Will he do that. I find it highly unlikely.
