Back in the spring of 1939 there was a rally that drew packed house at Madison Square, Gardens in New York. It was a pro America rally, with Nazi uniforms present. The rally was in support of Adolf Hitler.

There was another rally last night at Madison Square, Gardens. full of lies and denigration of immigrants. It was an us versus them rally. this time it was in support of Donald Trump. Trump is known to have said that Hitler did positive things. Trump is known to have wished that the generals that worked under him were like Hitler’s generals. Republicans are very upset about the fact that many have compared last night’s rally to the one that was held in 1939.

Well, here is what one speakers said last night about Puerto Ricans.

Latinos “love making babies. There’s no pulling out. They come inside, just like they do to our country. There’s literally a floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean right now. I think it’s called Puerto Rico.”

The crowd roared with laughter at these comments. I am sure the crowd back in 1939 roared with laughter over similar comments made against Jews.

Now Puerto Rico is an American territory. Show the speaker was denigrating Americans.

This morning Republicans are trying to distance themselves from the comments made by this person. There is a large Puerto Rican population within the states and they vote. Regardless of the backtracking, these comments are out there, and they are stinking the voting landscape.

Is this going to affect the election next week? Who knows. MAGA voters are different breed of people. However, if Trump gets in, last night’s rally is giving Americans a taste of the future.
