Donald Trump had a two hour call with Vladimir Putin, yesterday. Zelensky was not on the call. Putin appeared to agree to stop bombing Ukrainian infrastructure for 30 days. He then proceeded to continue bombing Ukrainian infrastructure. Surprise, surprise.

Ukraine has a couple of terms that they want for any long lasting piece. The first is the return of land taken forcibly by Russia. The second is the return of 35,000 Ukrainian children kidnapped by the Russians during their invasion.

Donald Trump has a history of separating children from their parents. We all remember what he did in his first term separating children from parents at the southern border. Many of these families have not been reunited even now.

Amongst the world’s efforts to reunite Ukrainian parents with their stolen children is Yale university’s humanitarian research lab. This group has been establishing a database of Russian war crimes, including the kidnapping of the 35,000 children. Donald Trump recently cut off funding for this group, killing the project. He went one step further by having the state department delete the database.

The following is a statement by a spokesman for Yale

”It is unclear whether it was by accident or intent, but it may reveal or it may cause potential criminal liability for the Trump administration, given international prohibitions against the destruction of war crimes evidence.”

Furthermore,

“The worst part of this is not that it screws up prosecution, that’s bad. The worst part is that it screws up our active efforts to try to get the kids back across the front line, physically.”

This is America under Trump. Hide your children.

This simply is unbelievable. Sadly, not surprising of what Trump is capable of doing. It again raises the question what hold does Putin have on Trump? Or is it further evidence that Trump is a Russian asset with the code name of Krasnov?
