We are five weeks away from our election. The number one issue remains Trump’s tariffs and Trump’s annexation threats. this is created an overwhelming wave of patriotism that the liberals have seized upon. Once behind by 20% in the polls, the liberals have surged ahead to a point where they actually might form a majority government.

Donald Trump keeps playing into the liberal playbook. It has just been announced that White House, national security advisor, Mike Waltz and second lady Usha Vance will be visiting Greenland this week. Greenland is another territory that Trump has threatened to take over. Greenland’s Prime Minister had the following comment about this upcoming visit, by Waltz.

“What is the national security adviser doing in Greenland? The only purpose is to demonstrate power over us. His mere presence in Greenland will no doubt fuel American belief in Trump’s mission — and the pressure will increase.”

Mark Carney, must not be able to believe his luck. With the Greenland visit as a backdrop, Carney stated this yesterday.

“We are facing the most significant crisis of our lifetime because of President Trump’s unjustified trade actions and his threats to our sovereignty. Our response must be to build a strong economy and a more secure Canada.”

In other news, relating to my chirp of yesterday, concerning Danielle Smith, she is on the defensive about speculation that she asked the Trump administration to put a pause on annexation and tariff talks until after the election.

This is like Christmas Day for the liberals with Donald Trump being Santa Claus. He keeps giving gifts that continue to boost liberal fortunes
