After the election last November, I did not watch cable news for a few months. It was just too depressing to watch. I started watching again, still nowhere close to the amount I watched before, when Trump’s tariff circus began. Part of the reason was because it was affecting Canada and it still is. Then Trump bombed Iran. Now the icing on the cake is the whole Jeffrey Epstein mess.

It reached new heights yesterday when the Wall Street Journal published a story about a birthday message that Trump allegedly sent to Epstein on Epstein’s 50th birthday. It had a drawing of a naked woman with Trump’s signature, strategically located within the drawing of the woman. A message was attached to the drawing with the message reading,

“Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.”

Trump has gone into full attack mode, claiming that the message is fake. This is what he blasted it out on truth social this morning.

“I told Rupert Murdoch it was a Scam, that he shouldn’t print this Fake Story. But he did, and now I’m going to sue his ass off, and that of his third rate newspaper.”

“I look forward to getting Rupert Murdoch to testify in my lawsuit against him and his ‘pile of garbage’ newspaper, the WSJ.”

Rupert Murdoch’s media Empire, along with the Wall Street Journal, includes fox entertainment otherwise known as Fox News. Rupert has been sued before. Remember Rupert had to pay out almost $1 billion to Dominion systems. It will be interesting to see how Fox News covers this. Last few days they have been downplaying the whole Epstein file mess. Will they keep downplaying this or will they start following the lead of the Wall Street Journal?

The most damning part of this birthday card is Trump’s message, if this is from Trump. What wonderful secret is he referring to? I think we can all add what one and one is.

Because the media is involved now, Trump’s supporters might start circling the wagons around him. But, his ally podcasters such as Charlie Kirk and Nick Fuentes, who have invested a lot of themselves on the whole Epstein file, will probably maintain or intensify their attacks on what they see as a cover-up.

This truly is a gift that keeps on giving.
