This is what Donald Trump’s Department of Justice had to say about Ghislaine Maxwell, back in 2020.

However, desperate times call for desperate measures, and Donald Trump is in desperation mode. Donald Trump sent his deputy Attorney General, Todd Blanche, to interview Maxwell over two days this week. Blanche is far from being an impartial lawyer, in this affair. He was Trump’s personal lawyer at a time and defended Trump, on a number of court cases.

David Oscar Markus, is the lawyer representing Maxwell. On a podcast, a couple of years ago, Blanche called Maxwell a close friend. This is what Markus how to say, this week, about Trump.

“commitment to uncovering the truth in this case …grateful that the government is trying to uncover the truth.”

Trump also floated the possibility of a pardon for Maxwell. Trump said he’s not considering it, (BS meter explodes), but acknowledges that he has the power to do so. This is how Markus reacted to that statement.

“The president this morning said he had the power to do so, and we hope he exercises that power in a right and just way.”

Donald, do not even go there. Your base has been pretty tolerant of your shenanigans over the years. When the issue involves underage girls, and when the base finally has seen all the photographs of you and Epstein together, even your base will see right through a pardon. Talk about quid pro quo. Maxwell will lie about your relationship with Epstein and you will pardon her. That is as clear as day to anybody, including your base, Donald.

You have fled to Scotland to get away from this for a few days. You will be back though and this mess will still be with you.
