Epstein Dance Renews

Isn’t that a sweet picture? Two sexual predators, having a quiet moment by themselves. Both end up in prison. One allegedly committing suicide, the other selling her soul for a pardon.

The Epstein dance renews this week with Congress back in town. Yesterday, the house oversight committee along with house speaker Mike Johnson met with six Epstein victims in a closed door session . Nancy Mace, an outspoken Republican Trump apologist supposedly left the room in tears during the session, upon hearing what the victims said. Jim Comer, republican chairman of the committee, said the following,

“The fact that Mike Johnson sat there for two and a half hours — we’re serious about this. We’re going to do everything we can to make this right.”

The Department of Justice even released 33,000 files, yesterday, relating to the Epstein case. Only problem is that most of these files have already been in the public sphere. Trump badly wants this whole thing to go away. Michael Johnson, speaker of the house, wants the whole thing to go away. The Republicans as a majority do not want the Epstein files to be discussed over the next few months on a daily basis.

Trouble is there is a small vocal group of Republicans who want this matter to continue. This morning, Democrat Ro Khanna, along with his Republican counterpart, Thomas Massie, will be holding a press conference with a number of Epstein victims at the steps of Capitol Hill. Khanna and Massie are also attempting to do a congressional procedure end around to ensure a vote on the Epstein files which would allow more committees to look into the matter. The two have supporters such as Marjorie, Taylor, Greene, and Lauren Boebert supporting this initiative. What a scary thought. Years down the road the world might look at Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert as two of the women who helped bring down Donald Trump. Then again, whoever imagined that a game show con man would be president.

That’s all I have for today.
