The partisan divide in the House and Senate is as bad as it has ever been. Just look at the quotes below made at the Senate hearing, yesterday, where RFK Junior was testifying.

“Secretary Kennedy, in your confirmation hearings, you promised to uphold the highest standards for vaccines. Since then, I’ve grown deeply concerned.”

“I would say, effectively, we’re denying people vaccines.”

“I do also believe that some of your statements seem to contradict what you said in the prior hearing. You said you’re going to empower the scientists at HHS to do their job, I’d just like to see evidence where you’ve done that.”

Those were statements made by just three senators at the hearing, yesterday. The thing is, they were all Republican senators. One may remember from the day before yesterday, the Epstein survivors press conference on Capitol Hill, showing that the Epstein saga was not a hoax, while Donald Trump at the same time called it a Democrat hoax. Trump was back at it again, yesterday, with his unreality show saying that Kennedy did a great job at the hearing.

Donald, you must be very thankful that this week is almost at an end. It has been a terrible week for you. The Epstein survivor press conference, the Kennedy debacle, a judge, overturning your attempt to deport children to Guatemala, a judge ruling that your tariffs are illegal and you may have to return $200 billion to importers, and finally Putin being more belligerent in his invasion of Ukraine. Oh yes, there’s a jobs report coming out today there’s not going to be good. This is with your flunky responsible for jobs reports given that you fired the last guy last month because of a bad jobs report issued. You have danced out of so many messes in the past I wonder if you’re gonna do it again. Sooner or later, it will catch up to you and history will record it.
