Is America capable of toning down the rhetoric, under this president? There are no ifs, ands,or buts, the rhetoric needs to be turned down or more people will die.

Just a few months ago, democrat House Speaker, for the state of Minnesota legislature, Melissa Hortman, was gunned down by a Trump supporter. A couple weeks ago Charlie Kirk was murdered. Yesterday, an ICE facility in Texas was targeted with a detainee being killed before the shooter took his own life. Little is known of the shooter yet, but it is claimed that there was anti- ICE material around his body.

The calming down of rhetoric has to start at the top and that would be Donald Trump. We all know he’s incapable of doing this. He will only add fuel to the fire so more people will die.

The Republican right are claiming that this rhetoric resulted in the death of Charlie Kirk. They are making him, successfully, a martyr for their cause. Yet it was Charlie Kirk himself who said the following words in a podcast in July 2023. He made these quotes following a discussion on Kamala Harris.

“I know what you’re thinking, we’ve got to get Joe Biden out of the way so we can run up against Kammy. Oh my goodness, is she beatable. It’s like Black Hillary on steroids. Is she Black? I guess she says she’s Caribbean or whatever. Doesn’t matter. She gives these speeches, and it just has this aura of totalitarianism. My team says she is Indian and Caribbean.”

Kirk went totally disgusting from there.

“I’ll tell you what, she would be a lot easier to beat than Joe Biden. Joe Biden is a bumbling, dementia-filled Alzheimer’s, corrupt, tyrant who should honestly be put in prison and/or given the death penalty for his crimes against America.”

Kirk was calling for the death of the president on his podcast.

We are in the era where a president, like Trump, can mock disabled people, call John McCain, a loser, and call countries that are predominantly of a color, not white, shit hole countries and get away with it. Charlie Kirk was given the OK to say what he said because his president is doing it.

Just like Donald Trump said about Charlottesville, where there were good people on both sides, essentially calling Nazis good people, there are also bad people on both sides. Trump’s rhetoric will bring these people out of the woodwork.

Kirk’s words, above, believe it or not, were not the worst words spoken in the last few years. That would go to Alex Jones for saying Sandy Hook was a fake.
