So Over You

Doug Fords, Ronald Reagan ad, first ran, during game seven of the Seattle Mariners, Toronto Blue Jays series, last Monday night. This is what Donald Trump said about the ad, on Tuesday.

“I saw an ad last night from Canada. If I was Canada, I’d take that same ad also.”

Basically, baby Donald was saying ‘meh’. Well, the ad kept running all week. By Thursday someone told Donald, because we all know he doesn’t read, himself, that these ads quoting Ronald, the great, was resonating with the American public. Donald went into full child bully stage.

“TARIFFS ARE VERY IMPORTANT TO THE NATIONAL SECURITY, AND ECONOMY, OF THE U.S.A. Based on their egregious behavior, ALL TRADE NEGOTIATIONS WITH CANADA ARE HEREBY TERMINATED.”

Doug Ford responded to this, on Friday, as follows.

“Ontario will pause its U.S. advertising campaign effective Monday so that trade talks can resume.”

Did I say that Donald Trump does not read stuff? Well, someone told him what Doug Ford had said. Trump also has selective hearing. Trump heard the first part, but he didn’t hear about the ads continuing until Monday. Trump exploded again after the ad ran in the game one of the World Series Friday night. His response?

“Their Advertisement was to be taken down, IMMEDIATELY, but they let it run last night during the World Series, knowing that it was a FRAUD.”

Trump followed this up by saying he would add a 10% tariff on all goods coming from Canada. Trump changes the game every day. For example, with China, he said he would levy a 100% tariff on Chinese goods. A couple days later he is saying that China and US has reached a consensus. I am sure that by next week at this time, additional tariffs will be put in place

Trump reminds me of a song by Katy Perry that came out in 2008 “HOT N COLD”

Cause you’re hot, then you’re cold
You’re yes, then you’re no
You’re in, then you’re out
You’re up, then you’re down
You’re wrong when it’s right
It’s black, and it’s white
We fight, we break up

You change your mind like a girl changes clothes

Mark Carney must be looking at this and saying what the freak do I gotta do. Donald Trump cannot stand what Canada is doing. Canada is standing up to him. Canada is not rolling over like other countries have. And it is having an effect on his tariff campaign.

Mark Carney is acting like the responsible adult trying to deal with a three year-old child who does not like not getting his way. I used to call Trump a five-year-old. Let’s take a couple years off that. I did not want to insult five-year-olds.

I’ve had it. I am so freaking over him.

That’s all I have for today.
