Given that Donald Trump is president, just like any other day, there is a lot going on. There is Minneapolis, Iran, weaponized Justice Department, and Trump and whoever he’s going after being sued back.
One event may be slipping under the radar just a bit. Jack Smith will be testifying, in public, before the house judiciary committee, on January 22.
Smith did testify, before a closed door hearing, in December. Video of that eight hour hearing was released, subsequently. But I, like most people, only saw snippets of the released testimony.
On January 22, Smith will be testifying live, in front of a national audience. I am 100% confident that both CNN and MS NOW will be carrying it live. Fox News may or may not carry it depending on their orders from Donald Trump. A live testimony will have much more impact than video snippets. There will be analysis before the testimony, during the testimony and subsequent to. Donald Trump probably is already having nightmares about this.
This will be fun to watch. It will be can’t miss TV.
That’s all I have for today.
