All this has happened just in the last 24 hours

Pete Hegseth gave another press briefing this morning, where he basically did not provide any update on the Iran war. He attacked the press. He said that the US was in control of the excursion. Don’t use the word war not around Pete or Donald. The US is doing unbelievably and decisively well.. He took questions from the press. But no one asked him serious questions. So it was a waste of a briefing and a half hour that I would never get back.

Oil prices have gone up to $115 a barrel now. Meanwhile, the Dow Jones is now flirting around 46,000 and sinking. I guess Pam Bondi can no longer say ‘but look we’re at 50,000’. Meanwhile, my retirement savings are now becoming retirement disappearings.

Israel bombed Iran’s South Pars oilfield yesterday. Trump said he knew nothing about this. Israel said that it was a joint operation with the US. So either Trump‘s dementia is getting worse or his military leaders are not talking to him or he’s lying (gasp). So Iran in response bombed Qatar’s oil facilities. Scrabble players, take note the word Qatar does not need the letter U. So now Trump is saying that if Iran keeps it up, he will bomb the South Par oil fields. That’s gonna help with the price of oil that’s for sure.

Remember with Donald said there would be no boots on the ground. Well, forget that. A bunch of marines are already on the way, and supposedly a bunch more are being considered.

Trump is going to Congress to request an additional $200 billion in support of the excursion in Iran. So, 13 lives lost and $200 billion needed. This is looking more like Iraq in 2003

Remember what Donald said, that Iran was a week away from developing a nuclear warhead and from sending missile to the United States. His intelligence team, that’s a stretch, testified in front of Congress yesterday that Iran was nowhere close to either of those things. Does that mean that Donald lied again (gasp)?

This all happened in the last 24 hours, believe it or not. In the meanwhile, I’m going to go look for my retirement savings.
